Why PillBox
Most medication reminder apps feel like they were designed by a pharmacy. They're clinical, cluttered, and assume you only need to track meds for one person. If you're also managing pills for a parent or a pet, you're out of luck.
PillBox is intentionally simple. Add a med, set a schedule, get a reminder. Tap “taken” from the notification and move on with your day. Everything stays on your phone — no sign-up, no subscriptions, no data leaving your device.
How It Works
Create a profile
Add yourself, a family member, or a pet. Pick an emoji and a color — that's their identity across the app.
Add medications
Enter the medication name, an optional friendly alias, dosage, and schedule. Daily or specific days of the week.
Get reminded
When a dose is due, you get a notification with quick actions. Tap Taken, Snooze, or open the app for more detail.

Multi-Profile Support
Track medications for yourself, family members, and pets — each with their own profile, emoji, and color.
Friendly Aliases
Give meds a display name like "Cold sore meds" instead of "Valacyclovir 500mg." Notifications stay private and easy to read.
Smart Notifications
Get reminders with quick actions right from the notification — tap Taken, Snooze 15min, or Snooze 1hr without opening the app.
Today View
A single screen shows everything due today, sorted into Overdue, Up Next, Later Today, and Completed.
Dose History
A chronological activity log grouped by day so you can see what was taken, snoozed, or missed at a glance.
Local & Private
All data stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking. Optional JSON export for backups.
Current Status
The MVP is well underway — profiles, medications, scheduling, notifications with quick actions, history, settings, and export/import are all implemented. Polishing UI details and working toward an App Store release.
